Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use this career site, create a candidate account, or submit an application. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by BTI Solutions, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), a consulting company headquartered in Plano, Texas. For over twenty years we have supported companies operating in the United States, in Korean and English, across technology and engineering delivery, HR and payroll, finance and operations, resource management, and Korea-to-U.S. market entry.

We recruit for our own teams, including the delivery teams that carry out our clients' engagements, and we also recruit on behalf of client employers. This site is where those positions are posted and where applications for them are received. Depending on the position, you may be considered for employment with us on an assignment supporting a client, or presented to a client employer that would employ you directly.

How we handle the information you submit is described in our Candidate Privacy Notice. That notice stands on its own and is not part of these terms.

2. Who may use this site

You may use this site only if you are of legal working age in your jurisdiction and are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. You may apply only on your own behalf, using your own information. You may not submit an application for another person.

3. Your account

Applying creates a candidate account tied to your email address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at recruiting@btisolutions.com if you believe someone else has gained access to it. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these terms.

4. The information you submit

You confirm that the information you give us, including your resume and your answers to application questions, is true, accurate, and your own, and that you have the right to give it to us. Providing false or misleading information is a ground for us to reject an application, to remove you from our candidate database, and, if you have already been placed, for the employment relationship to be ended in accordance with applicable law.

Do not upload anything you are not entitled to share, including another person's personal information, confidential information belonging to a current or former employer, or material that infringes someone else's rights.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, process, and share it for the purposes described in the Candidate Privacy Notice, which are recruiting you for positions, presenting you to client employers, and meeting our legal obligations. This license lasts for as long as we keep your information under the retention periods in that notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use any robot, scraper, or other automated means to access, copy, or collect content from this site, including job postings;
  • submit applications in bulk or by automated means;
  • attempt to gain access to any account, data, or part of our systems that you are not authorized to access;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site, or interfere with or overload it;
  • upload any file containing a virus or other harmful code;
  • copy, republish, or use our job postings or other site content for a commercial purpose, including to build or supplement a competing database;
  • misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or company;
  • use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.

6. No offer and no employment relationship

Job postings on this site are invitations to apply, not offers of employment. Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship, an agency relationship, or any other contract between you and us or between you and a client employer, and it does not guarantee that you will receive a response, an interview, or an offer.

Any employment that does result is separate from these terms and is governed by the documents you sign for it. Employment in the United States is generally at-will, and nothing on this site changes that or creates a contract for employment for a fixed term.

We may change, suspend, or remove any posting at any time, including after you have applied.

7. Equal employment opportunity

We consider candidates without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, protected veteran status, citizenship status, marital status, ancestry, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

8. Our content

The site, its design, its text, and its logos are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Apart from viewing the site and applying for positions, you receive no license to use them. Company names and logos of client employers belong to those companies.

9. Third-party sites and services

The site links to and works with services operated by others, including job boards, document viewers, electronic signature providers, and background check providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or their handling of your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

A background check is never authorized by these terms. Where a position requires one, you will receive a separate, standalone disclosure and will be asked for your written authorization at that time, as the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable state law require. Agreeing to these terms, or to our Candidate Privacy Notice, is not that authorization and does not substitute for it.

10. The site is provided as is

We provide this site as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that any posting is current, or that any information on the site is complete or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under employment, anti-discrimination, or consumer reporting laws, or your right to bring a claim or a charge before a government agency. This section is about the operation of this website, not about how your application is decided.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of this site, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with this site will not exceed one hundred United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent the law permits, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of information you submitted that was false, or that you were not entitled to submit because it belonged to someone else or was confidential to another party. This section covers those two things only. It does not apply to any claim you bring about how your application was handled.

13. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or to this site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. This section does not limit any right you have to bring a claim before a government agency where the law gives you that right.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and the current version is always the one on this page.

If you have a candidate account and we make a significant change, we will tell you. We will email the address on your account and ask you to accept the updated terms the next time you sign in. Until you accept them, the version you accepted before continues to apply to you. If you do not accept them, you may stop using the site and ask us to close your account and delete your information, as described in the Candidate Privacy Notice.

For a visitor who has no account, continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms.

15. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of this site. Our Candidate Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy are referred to here for your information and are separate documents, not part of this agreement.
