About the role
Primary responsibilities
- Check attendance of all talents and assign and lead group to finish daily objectives
- Forecast and plan for staging & loading for daily based on inventory
- Communicate and lead drivers to provide quality issue for inspection from bay
- Oversee progress of loading by checking status of liveload / drop & hook trailers throughout day
- Print necessary documents for checking in & out process. This involves multiple steps of verifying trailer#, assigning and allocating loading ticket to respective areas for loading, printing out BOL, and gating out BOL when ready
- Implement and share daily inventory count at end of day
- Office document analysis based on data from ERP
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to support the team and business objectives.
Key Skills:
- Associate/Bachelor degree in college
- Having attention to detail
- Get all employees on daily goal of receiving product and stacking away without damages, loading empty trailer with accuracy.
- Be a good listener & excellent communicator. It is utmost important to be an excellent communicator with previous shift managers for any change in plan for loading, staffing requests etc.
Tools:
- N-ERP: Used for many of the tasks handled by the CY, such as checking in/out drivers, yard status, and paperwork
- GMES: Used to check status of production and lot status
- KNOX MESSENGER: Used for communication with members of group for loading request
